I have a problem with any Windows 10/11 PC on our network when our internet goes offline.(FYI Our company is located in a farming/rural aria where internet is not stable)The PC's (all 75 of them) will not see or access any PC/Servers via Names on the net. When internet is offline windows 10/11 cant see local LAN PC Names but only IP's Windows.

When dealing with RDP, and restricting it to specific monitors instead of all monitors, everything I have read indicates you get the monitor numbers by using the MSTSC / command.however I see situations where these numbers change because of changing doc. Ive tried reformatting for NTFS, and nothing is working, the xbox is only reading it as for media, and wont give the option to format for games and apps. The "Ignore Ownership on the Volume" checkbox in the drive's show info box is not there.Hello People, a customer just informed me of an issue trying to view the data of an External Seagate Hard Drive, they told me that this Hard Drive is used to backup a Server (Windows Server 2012 HP Proliant) with Windows Server Backup and thats all, so they gave me remote access to the Server and the HDD wasnt visible in the file explorer, only on device and printers and in disk management, i wanted to format the drive from the disk management window, but all the options are greyed out except forĬonvert to Dynamic Disk i thing, and noticed that the disk was set up as "read only", also i wanted to use diskpart but i wasnt able it just gets stuck on the server, anyway they tried to connect the HDD to other computer but it doesnt shows up even in the disk management console the HDD isnt visible only from the device management window under disk drives it appears, seems that's only visible on the Server, the most important thing i want to know how this disk is set up as an SCSI Device it is just a normal External Seagate HDD, maybe the Server has something to do with this but im not sure, and also if is any way to change the "read only" config, and why this drive is only visible in the Server and not in other PC's thanks

I know each of those two problems are the cause of this issue but I am unable to find a solution.

I know what you are going to say, but the NTFS writing software that Seagate has to write to these type of drives doesn't work on this version of macOS I guess the upgrade killed it because I have used the drive before on previous versions. I plugged in my Seagate backup hard drive today (not Time Machine) after a few months and my computer can read the drive but not write to it.Ģ) The drive has (from top to bottom) "Read & Write", "Read-only", "Read-Only" permissions.
